Our flagship software product is Hereworks Solve, a SaaS-based Smart Ticketing System that streamlines the process of reporting, managing, and preventing issues in modern office environments, thereby improving overall productivity and workplace satisfaction, all without the need for an app. The Solve smart ticketing solution enables our clients in facilities management, multinational enterprises, co-working and student accommodation sectors to get sight of the issues affecting performance and productivity faster and more regularly, permitting quick, effective resolution of those reported problems.

What’s the opportunity? (Role)

We are currently seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working individual to manage product sales for the Hereworks Solve platform, reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing channel partnerships, managing inbound/outbound sales, and supporting new partnership accounts. The role requires a self-starter combination of full-cycle sales capability, management skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
This is a pivotal role with the primary objective of achieving an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of €300k within 12 months. This will be a rewarding and challenging career opportunity for the right individual with a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

What will you be doing? (Responsibilities)

  • Identify target key market segments to introduce Hereworks Solve through a partnership and/or reseller approach. Initial Key Segments include international facility management (FM) companies, property management companies, and large enterprise corporations with multiple office spaces internationally as well as Managed Office Providers and Student Accommodation
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research
  • Prepare, develop, and present, personal approach to market strategy
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored solutions to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our products
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase Hereworks Solve effectively
  • Prepare, submit, and nurture sales proposals
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the client and the company
  • Continuously expand and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients, acting as their primary point of contact
  • Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide strategic recommendations and solutions that align with their needs
  • Regularly provide feedback to the development team and marketing to inform client needs and suggested areas of focus
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and customer support, to ensure prompt resolution of client issues and to enhance the overall client experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using CRM software or other designated systems
  • Post-sale cycle debrief and lessons learned sessions

What do you need? (Requirements)

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proven ability to review the market and strategise a best route to market
  • Proven track record of successful channel sales and or enterprise sales, ideally within the SaaS or technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of the commercial real estate or office management market
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and build rapport with clients
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
  • Must have exemplary, clear, and professional communication skills (written and oral)

Full time – 40 hours per week.
Hybrid model which includes remote working, client site visits and some work at our Cambridge or London Offices and the Head Office in Ashbourne Co. Meath, Ireland.
