Hereworks’ business is growing internationally as a “Full-Stack” Smart Building Contractor. This “full-stack approach” encompasses the data layer, where they leverage our expertise as a Master Systems Integrator (MSI). The company’s installation team manages hardware integration, deploying smart technologies like Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) sensors and space analytics systems. We also offer software platforms, including our own Hereworks Happy™ Platform and third-party systems, providing insights and management solutions for smart buildings. 

Hereworks is a leader in Smart Building Solutions, leveraging our experience in Hardware Integration and AV, MSI, and Software Engineering and heritage in project management in the construction Sector. We specialise in creating human-centric smart buildings. 

Hereworks’ MSI team ensure all intelligent building systems within a smart building communicate properly; we collaborate with the client and all project stakeholders to ensure systems will be accessible and usable while developing software and network layers for integration, aggregation and communication of the building’s systems including, but not limited to:

Hereworks specialises in MSI, software, and AV/SI hardware. The overarching objective of this role is to oversee these core business functions to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives and efficient project delivery. The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer with a dotted line to the Managing Director. 

The Senior Solutions Architect (SSA) is crucial for transforming conceptual designs into detailed, secure, and technically sound plans for smart buildings. The SSA oversees technical performance and security while integrating third-party hardware and software systems. The role involves collaborating with software engineers, building services engineers, 3rd party vendors, and CAD/BIM designers to deliver a comprehensive solution.

The Senior Solutions Architect (SSA) should possess a strong background in software and engineering, with a deep understanding of smart building technologies. This person should excel in project management, be adept at integrating various systems, and stay current with industry trends. Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams are essential. Given Hereworks’ focus on human-centric smart buildings, this leader should also be innovative and committed to improving the overall building experience.
